It has a durable stainless steel interior & spray arm which looks shiny and it is very easy to clean. It also has 6 standard place settings which you can use to get the best results. It comes with a free faucet adapter which you can use to connect the dishwasher to a kitchen faucet. It also comes with 6 wash cycles and these include; Heavy – which you can use when performing heavy duty tasks, Normal, Light, Glass – right speed for washing glasses, Speed and Soak cycle. With all these cycles, you can’t fail to get desired results.

SPT Counter-top Dishwasher is user friendly; You don’t have to read a user manual to know how to use it. May be you can consult the manual on day one, but after that, everything will be easy. In position 5, we have EdgeStar Energy Star 18″ Built-In Dishwasher. It is a stainless steel appliance, so things like durability should not worry you. It has a good customer rating of about 9.4/10 and it is well priced compared to other built-in dishwashers on the market. At first I was confusing it with a double drawer washer but that is not the case, instead of featuring two drawers, it features one long dishwasher drawer which loads more dishes than a counter-top dishwasher. Since it comes at an affordable price you can upgrade from that small counter-top washer and clean more dishes in a short period of time. Judging from its size (Height: 32.5″Width: 18″ Depth: 22″), this appliance can fit very well in a medium sized kitchen. If your kitchen has a special area where it goes, you will not do any serious installation because it comes fully assembled.

WASH CYCLES:- I’m quite surprised that this 18″ Built-In Dishwasher has only 6 wash cycles just like ”EdgeStar 6 & SPT”. You can choose from heavy, normal, light, glass, speed and rinse. Use a dial selector to select a wash cycle of your choice. At the control panel you will also see on/off & start/pause button which you can use to control the performance of this appliance.

ENERGY STAR RATED:- When I was giving you tips on how to choose the best dishwasher, I remember I mentioned about energy consumption. I said you have to opt for an appliance which consumes less power because the last thing you need is a six figure power bill at the end of the year. All Edgestar dishwashers are Energy Star Rated; they are more efficient and eco-friendly.

After getting your new dishwasher, you might get confused for the first time because it is not a regular appliance. So to avoid making mistakes, read a detailed manual for that dishwasher or follow steps outlined below:

Remove excess food from plates and related utensils.
Make sure all dishes and utensils are dishwasher safe.
Organize and set your dishwasher. It has different sections, make sure you put glasses in the top sections because they can easily brake if mixed with ceramic / metallic utensils. Do the same thing with other items.
Plates should go at the bottom, it has more space than other sections.
